Swine

Swine production involves stages with very different nutritional requirements lactation, weaning, transition, growth, and finishing). One of the key challenges is maintaining stable feed intake, particularly during periods when animals face changes in diet or environment.

Alliums are used as flavouring ingredients to privede sensory uniformity to feed, helping animals recognize the diet as familiar and maintain regular intake during these transition phases.

In addition, Scientific literature describes that compounds present in alliums may support digestive comfort and promote more efficient feed utilization, contributing to the maintenance of overall animal well-being and more balanced feeding behaviour.
