Rabbit Farming

Rabbit production has a long tradition in Mediterranean countries such as Spain, France, and Italy, where it represents a specialized sector with high gastronomic and cultural value. Within this production system, consistency in feed intake, el , digestive balance, and animal welfare are key factors for maintaining productive stability.

Allium extracts are used as ingredients in rabbit nutrition due to their characteristic natural aroma, which helps improve feed palatability and promote constistent intake, especially during sensitive phases or formulation changes.

In addition, recent scientific literature in rabbit production has reported that the inclusion of compounds present in garlic and onion may promote a more balanced digestive environment and support a more stable intestinal composition, resulting in animals with greater physiological comfort and improved nutritional adaptability.
