Our colleague Lidia Gil is carrying out an innovation project through the EMPLEA Fellowship.
The grant is intended to support the R&D&I activity “Development of functional ingredients from plant extracts and bioactive compounds” and is funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness through the State Programme for the Promotion of Talent and Employability, included in the National Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation Plan 2013–2016 (Ref: EMP-TU-2016-5627).
As part of the dissemination activities associated with this project, DOMCA received a visit last January from a group of students from the Master’s Degree in Biotechnology at the University of Granada. During the visit, students had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the company’s activities and its R&D team. In addition, Lidia Gil presented her R&D&I project to final-year Master’s students, an experience that proved to be of great interest for their future professional integration.
