DOMCA received the award from the Rector of the University of Granada, Mr. Pedro Mercado. The event was also attended by the Vice-Rector for Social Innovation, Employability and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Esteban Romero Frías, and the Director of Employment and Internships, Ms. María del Mar Ortiz.

The Employment and Internship Centre held in the Espacio V Centenario of the University of Granada the ceremony of the Employment/UGR Awards.

During the event, the 2nd Edition of the award for the best curriculum, More than 50 applications from different degrees were submitted, highlighting the great variety of formats, as well as the creativity and originality of the proposals.

The Rector stressed the importance of connecting students with society and thanked the award-winning institutions and companies for their active participation in the University's internship and employment programmes. The vice-chancellor, for his part, wanted to highlight the work of the staff of the Centre for Employment and Internships for the development of the management of internships, highlighting their dedication and effort.

During the event, the annual report on university internships was also presented, highlighting the positive impact that company internships have had on university employability and on the socio-economic environment.

Finally, awards were presented to various companies and organisations participating in the work experience programme at the proposal of the different university degrees, including companies and institutions such as the Zaidín Experimental Station (CSIC), Caja Rural de Granada, Barceló Hotels, the Official College of Pharmacists of Granada and the newspaper Granada Hoy.

DOMCA has received the award from the hands of the Rector, Mr. Pedro Mercado through its Director of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Mr. Alberto Baños Arjona.

The recognition of DOMCA has been proposed by the Degree in Food Science and Technology, one of the degrees closest to the company, as every year we receive several students from this degree.
