This strong commitment to innovation, development, and research places the Spanish group at the forefront of research within the food industryIn addition to its in-house R&D department, the company maintains close collaboration with DMC Research, a technology-based entity equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and specialized in the development of new natural active ingredients.
DMC Research has a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including PhDs and specialists in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, Nutrition, and related fields, enabling the company to provide its customers with the highest level of technical expertise.
Currently, DMC Research focuses on the following research lines:
Development of new natural-origin compounds (derived from plants and microorganisms) with technological and functional properties.
Research and development of new products targeting emerging pathogens.
Environmental hygiene processes in the food industry.
Development of natural treatments for agriculture and post-harvest applications.
Stabilization studies and controlled realase of active ingredients.
Valorization of by-products from the agri-food industry.
Development of new ingredients and additives for natural and sustainable animal nutrition.
Research on plant extracts for the development of functional ingredients for human nutrition.
Projects of R&D
As a means of collaborative participation in R&D&I within the agri-food sector, DOMCA and DMC Research are involved in various national and international projects. The main priorities of participation in these programs focus on enhancing the visibility and impact of R&D&I activities, acquiring knowledge and experience to form European and international consortia, and establishing new commercial relationships at a global level.
