On 11 February, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

This event was born in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly with the aim of achieving full and equal access and participation in science for women and girls, and to achieve gender equality.

Only 30% of the world's scientific researchers are women. And that figure drops to 20% in jobs related to the technology sector.

For this reason, DOMCA joins the celebration of this day with a video in which five of its professionals talk about their experience and difficulties in the development of their academic and professional life, explaining what have been their references and the advice they would give to future girl scientists.

The aim of this initiative is to contribute to awakening a vocation for science in girls, to disseminate research work and the contribution of women in scientific and technological careers, as well as to promote equal opportunities.
