Quality and food safety policy

DOMCA, S.A.U. is a company dedicated to the design, production, distribution and marketing of: food additives, intermediate food preparations for industrial use, food and edible coatings, mixtures of additives and ingredients with preservative properties, technological adjuvants, vegetable pastes and premixes and complementary feeds for animal feed.  We also market food supplements.

Our main mission is to satisfy the needs and expectations of our customers by means of continuous improvement in the development and innovation of quality, both in our production and organisational processes, as well as in the services offered to all our customers.

We are aware that food safety plays an essential role in the food chain of which we form part, and for this reason, at DOMCA, S.A.U. we work under the standards of the Halal, ISO 9001:2015, Fami QS, ISO 22.000:2018 and the requirements of FSSC 22.000 vs. 6, which are based on the following premises:

  1. For DOMCA, the environment is more than a priority and we work to ensure that the impact of our industrial and economic activity respects the environment.
  2. Management commitment: The management is committed to the functioning of the Management System, to the achievement of the objectives and to effective communication with stakeholders according to the purpose and context of the organisation.

ESTABLISH, DOCUMENT, IMPLEMENT, MAINTAIN, MONITOR AND EVALUATE our quality and food safety management system, compliance with the applicable legal requirements, as well as the requirements of the standards to which we are certified (Halal, Kosher, FAMI QS, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22.000, FSSC 22.000, organic certification of inputs, and organic fertilisers in accordance with UNE 142500:2017).

SELECT appropriately and periodically evaluate suppliers, so that they contribute to guarantee the safety and security of the products placed on the market.

MAINTAIN, monitor, measure and analyse processes, procedures and services, including that of subcontractors, for the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the food safety system.

ENSURE compliance with contractual, legal and safety requirements for products manufactured and/or marketed by implementing processes with defined controls through a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system.

We will achieve these objectives by providing encouragement, training and the necessary resources to enable us to carry out any task with maximum quality, safety and productivity, guaranteeing that the quality and food safety system is understood, applied and updated by all the company’s personnel and by all the parties involved.

This policy is deployed in specific objectives and goals for the different areas of the company, which will vary according to the needs detected and the proposed points for improvement, evaluating them and ensuring that they are fulfilled. 

Management requests the commitment of all employees, subcontracted companies and other interested parties and undertakes to develop, improve and apply the quality, safety and innocuousness criteria defined in our Integrated Food Safety and Management System procedures.

To demonstrate our commitment, we make this Food Safety Policy public, so that all interested parties are aware of it. It is communicated internally in electronic and paper format, as well as through our website.

The Management undertakes to periodically review this Policy in the System Reviews, in order to adapt the objectives to Food Safety and Food Innocuousness, to the requirements and criteria for customer satisfaction and to the continuous improvement of the Service Provision and Management Processes of the Integrated System.
