DOMCA has been awarded the runner-up prize as the best responsible company 2020 in the SME awards organised by the Chambers of Commerce of Granada and Motril, together with Cámara España and Banco Santander, with the collaboration of Ideal.
The jury considered that DOMCA has carried out important R&D&I projects related to the search for alternatives to food pathogens, offering solutions to crises such as that of Listeria in 2019, as well as the search for functional ingredients for human and animal food. He also highlighted the cleaning and disinfection services that the company altruistically carried out in healthcare centres and residences in Granada during the months of the COVID-19 alert.
DOMCA had also been nominated as the best SME of the year 2020, an award that finally went to the company Lanjatrans, which also received recognition for its initiative in the Fight against COVID-19. Along with the winner, Arkossa Smart Solutions (Internalisation), Iberwix Telecom (Innovation and digitalisation) and Greening Ingeniería Civil y Ambiental (Training and Employment) were also recognised with runners-up prizes.
More than 2,300 participating SMEs
This fourth edition of the SME of the Year Award consolidates its position as one of the most prestigious awards in the business world. In 2019, third edition of the SME of the Year Award, A total of 1,552 companies from the 50 provinces and the Autonomous City of Ceuta registered, with the participation of 42 territorial Chambers of Commerce. Since 2017, the year of its implementation, 2,303 SMEs have already participated in the event. Many thanks to the Chamber of Commerce for this important award that motivates us to continue being responsible with the society of Granada!
