DOMCA receives the “SME Award of the Year” 2021 in Granada

DOMCA has been recognized with the award given by the Chamber of Commerce of Motril, Chamber of Commerce of Granada and Banco Santander to the SME of the Year 2021. Domca was a candidate together with other thirty companies in the province of Granada. Finally, the jury chose our company to receive the award highlighting our improvement in all business areas.

Among other reasons, the jury considered that DOMCA maintained the workforce and even increased it slightly during the year 2020, the design of equality plans and the increase in the international business activity. Thanks to this last point, Domca is nowadays present in the main European countries, like Germany or Great Britain, but also in Latin American markets such as Chile or Argentina and in Asian countries like China. During this period, DOMCA has participated in several national and international R&D projects in collaboration with other companies and Universities, showing a great commitment with innovation and sustainability.

The SME of the Year award is an initiative that takes places in every province of Spain and that to the election of the best SME at national level at the beginning of 2022. With this award, the organizing entities highlight the leading role that small and medium-sized companies in each national territory play in the creation of employment and wealth, in addition to promoting the generation of economic and social welfare.

In 2020, Domca was already awarded by the Accessit award to the most Responsible Company as a result of the cleaning and disinfection works against COVID-19 in the various health centers and residences located in the province of Granada in the hardest moments of the pandemic.

DOMCA, after being the winner in the province of Granada of the SME of the year 2021 award will become candidate to the SME award at a national level. The event will be organized by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Banco Santander. The date on which the event will take place is yet to be defined, but it is estimated that it will be held in early 2022.
